After choosing the type of shutter you require it is worth while taking time deciding on the type of shutter operating system you want. Any type of system may be used with Eko-Plast external shutters.

In the manually operated shutter system we offer:

- Strap or cord winder (surface mounted, built in, semi flush)
- Winding wheel with a planetary gear
- Strap or cord winder with gear handle
 – Gear handle with handle rod (fixed, detachable, and separate).
 
In the spring operated we offer:

- Most popular basic ones, electric cable operated
– Electric cable operated using a built in radio receiver which can be

– electrical operation with overload switch detecting obstacles and ice build up
